Volair is responsible for the management and delivery of Knowsley’s leisure services. Volair is a council owned but an independently listed and managed company to advance leisure services and aid impact on local health outcomes.

What we do - Volair operates five leisure facilities across Knowsley and a further five centres for learning.

We have approximately 7,500 members, 3,000 casual users and over 2,500 children learning to swim every week. We employ over 150 people, including an expert health and well-being team overseeing health programmes such as GP Referral, specialised pulmonary rehab, cardiac rehab, metal health, diabetes.

Our gyms have an unrivalled range of equipment with the latest cardio and resistance equipment, functional space and free weights.

Across all our facilities we have six swimming pools, saunas/steam rooms, 18 badminton courts, sports halls, fitness class suites, squash court, coaching programs, modern 3G football pitches and facility hire.

We provide more than just amazing fitness facilities; we also offer café areas, children’s parties, event spaces, an ultra-modern Velodrome and BMX tracks. We also have the Volair Spa, a fully equipped beauty salon and thermal spa.
