Active Leeds is the Leeds City Council service that provides active wellbeing opportunities for the people of Leeds. Our vision is for Leeds to be the best city to be active in and we want to help the people of Leeds #MoveMoreEveryday. We are passionate about enabling active and thriving communities and delivering positive experiences through a friendly & supportive team. Our approach is to work ‘with’ communities, at their pace, building on the strengths. Active Leeds has a community development team working with our most deprived communities and groups to reduce inactivity and health inequalities and to improve opportunities for physical activity and community sport. We manage 17 leisure centre’s which includes 22 pools, 12 gyms, sports halls, activity rooms and the city’s Sailing and Activity Centre.

We continually seek opportunities to evolve and change, working hard to respond to the needs of our communities.
